From the ground up
This tutorial walks one path. It starts with a fresh install and ends with a setup you have tuned from your own rejections, and it takes about two hours spread over a few sessions, because some chapters need the records a few days of use produce.
Each chapter ends with a check: the line /just-say-so:doctor should show, or a file that should now exist. Do the chapters in order. Where a step could go two ways, the tutorial picks one; the how-to guides cover the other way when you need it later.
